is this old or new skyrim just wondering
IF you asking if this is for Legendary Edition or for Special Edition…
…first, I’m not using the new SE compression formats for my textures, therefore all my textures are working fine in LE (“Oldrim”) too.
IF there are meshes too in a mod of mine, then these meshes are NOT working for LE.
For example, I made a new major release for “Unique Store Signs” and there are edited meshes there – so you can’t use that newest version in “Oldrim”.
This here, Soul Cairn, is just a TEXTURE mod – so you can use it wherever you like.

The landscape folder for the Soul Cairn is missing unlike in the older version you had up on nexus.
What folder you mean?
I just place here what I have stored (and have published to Nexus).

I’ve been using your textures since you were still in nexus.
Most of your textures have very good taste (for realism) in my opinion.
For example, your rope texture is the best one I could find since (2012) I installed SMIM.

Obviously I can’t be good in everything. Some other mods maybe are far better than mine; but I believe, most of my mods are very good to be used by the players.

this is best soul cairn, I did try RLO from moddb and all version from nexus, this is hands down best looking one, should I keep smim meshes and textures for bone piles ?
I made some editing at the meshes. If you like, use them. The textures are vanilla replacers – as usual.

Best soul cairn retexture out there. I thought Soul Cairn was very drab and boring after the first few times visiting it. This makes it stand out and appear more fantastical than before. Also the background isn’t boring any more.

To be honest, Soul Cairn is BY FAR THE PLACE I HATE MOST from Skyrim game! So boring, so huge, without map nav-points… walking for ever to find the damn Valerica, fight the dragon and leave! I mean… seriously, if I’ll restart the game (I’ve finished it twice, with both DLCs finished as well)… I’ll find a console command to by-pass the damn Soul Cairn!

I agree about the console command to finish quest, but with this mod, the soul Cairn is looking pretty good, I still have my copy from the Nexus days, SpiderBob says A ok to this re texture.

Soul Cairn is probably the TOP ONE MOST BORING place of all Skyrim (DLCs included).
I used cheats to finish the quest as much as fast I could, I couldn’t stand stay there longer. Horribly boring place.
